How do you join an in-game Rocket League tournament?
Open Rocket League, select Play, then Tournaments, and pick your time slot. You can sign up solo, with an incomplete team or a full team; the game notifies you when the tournament is about to start.
How do in-game tournaments work?
Each in-game competitive tournament is a 32-team single-elimination bracket built by skill level. Every round is a single game, except the semi-finals and the final, which are best of three. Teams knocked out in the first round, or arriving after the start, can join a second-chance bracket. A game lasts at most 11 minutes; in case of a tie, the team with more shots wins. You earn Tournament Credits once the first round is over, and the winner gets a title showing the tournament's rank. Leaving a match early brings penalties, including a 15-minute matchmaking ban and a ban from the next tournament.
Official tournament rules (Epic Games)Want a tournament with a bracket, chat and ranking?
Strive tournaments are free and open to every skill level, in 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3. The bracket is published one hour before the start and seeded by peak MMR, so favourites don't meet in the first round. Each match has its own chat and a 10-minute check-in, scores are confirmed by both teams, and every placement earns Prestige in the season ranking.

What time are Rocket League tournaments today?
In the Europe region, the in-game Soccar tournaments take place every day at 16:00 and 20:00 UK time (17:00 and 21:00 Paris time) in 2v2, and at 18:00 and 22:00 UK time (19:00 and 23:00 Paris time) in 3v3. There is also an Extra Modes tournament at 14:00 UK time and a Soccar or Heatseeker tournament (15:00 UK time at weekends, 19:00 on weekdays).
Why do the times change in winter?
Psyonix publishes the schedule in UTC, which never changes. When the clocks go back on the last Sunday of October, UK and Central European times both move one hour earlier; they move back on the last Sunday of March.
Can you win money in Rocket League tournaments?
Not in the in-game tournaments: they award Tournament Credits, which you exchange for cosmetic items. Some third-party organisers run cash-prize tournaments with their own rules (age, region, possible entry fees), so always read the rulebook. Strive tournaments are free and have no cash prize; they award Prestige.
Are in-game tournaments open to every rank?
Yes. According to Epic's official help, registration is open to everyone, solo, with an incomplete team or a full team, and brackets group teams of a similar level.
