This page explains in plain terms what data Strive uses, why, for how long, and how you stay in control of it. It applies the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

1. Who is responsible for your data?

The data controller is Strive's publisher: [NOM DE L'ÉDITEUR] ([STATUT DE L'ÉDITEUR — ex. « particulier, à titre non professionnel »]). Contact for any question or to exercise your rights: strive4esport@gmail.com.

2. Minimum age

Strive is reserved for people aged 15 and over. We don't knowingly collect data about children under 15. If you are under 15, don't create an account. If a parent finds that their child under 15 has an account, they can write to us: we close the account and delete the data.

We don't ask for your date of birth or an ID document at sign-up: you simply declare that you are 15 or older.

3. What data, for what purpose, and on what legal basis?

The “legal basis” is the reason provided by the GDPR that allows us to use a piece of data.

Some data doesn't come from you: the staff looks up your public stats on Tracker Network (a publicly accessible source) to check the ones you declared. You can object to this check by writing to us; in that case, you may be limited to tournaments that aren't reserved for verified profiles.

We collect no sensitive data (health, opinions, religion…): don't put any in your bio or messages. We do no targeted advertising, no profiling and no resale of data, and no automated decision producing legal effects for you. Bracket seeding is calculated automatically from peak MMR; sanctions are always decided by a person.

Required fields are marked at sign-up (username, email, password); the Epic Games username is required to play in a tournament. Everything else is optional.
